We launched this project after an educational experience that we had some members of the Nauta Association and a previous successful project. After understanding the сonsequences and realities of this issue, we immediately saw its importance not only for our local community, but for any young European.
Thus, we understood that an adequate approach can give young Europeans a series of keys that until today we did not handle on our own physical integrity.
On the other hand, we consulted EuroStat to know the accident situation on the road linked to alcohol consumption in young people. The situation was no better in continental Europe than in the Canary Islands. With these wicks, we set out to propose an expanded, improved project, with a more adequate partnership, with methodologies more adapted to the needs of all and with extremely agreed activities.
Our aims were:
– to increase the employability and improvement of the professional perspectives of all the actors that intervene in it;
– to increase the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship;
– to print on everyone a greater intercultural awareness;
This project seeked to raise awareness of the tremendous danger of the vehicle – alcohol combination in the face of the imperative need to value life as our most precious treasure.
