Spätná väzba od jedného z častníkov:
“Takže už môžem povedať, že som bol v malej dedinke v Andaluzií, konečne! #QueVivaVillacarrilo ☺? Nie je to myslené ako vtip. Bol to môj prvý raz v Andaluzií a viem, že nie posledný. Keď som sa prihlasoval do tohto projektu, nevedel som čo očakávať, nevedel som akí tam budú ľudia a mal som fakt obavy z toho čo mi dajú na jesť (#veganproblems). No po prvom dni sa moje obavy stratili. Čo ma najviac potešilo však bola neformálnosť, nebolo to o tom, že 24/7 pozeráme prezentácie. Aj keď niekedy chýbala organizácia, ale veď čo, hlavne si treba užívať a vzdelávať.
Pri tomto projekte som stretol kopu skvelých ľudí z Bulharska, Talianska, Španielska a taktiež z nášho malého Slovenska, čo samozrejme skoro nik nevedel kde je (aspoň sme im otvorili oči.) ?
Pri projekte sme zničili hranice strachu z dorozumievania sa v cudzom jazyku, niekedy gestami, inokedy zas španinou, angličtinou a boli aj noci, kedy sme to vyjadrili tancom a úsmevom. Ďakujem za projekt, ktorý mi ukázal, že sa nemusím báť bývať v cudzine, pretože všetci sme si rovní a všetci sme ľudia. #WeAreTheWorld

Zhrnutie o čom výmena bola:
The exchange was focused on developing the social skills necessary to face living in another country, to know and learn a language and to understand the culture of the surrounding environment.
Nowadays it is true that the English language is the most common language of the European Union. The globalization requires the knowledge of other languages than our own mother tongue. Either for the purpose of developing our daily activities as to be more competent in the labor market. We are conscious that not everybody has the same opportunities or skills to learn a new language, either for lack of resources or motivation. For that reason the aim of the Youth Exchange “Let ́s Blend Together” was to develop and improve the communicative, social and cultural skills of young people through different tools such as the non formal learning methods, intuition, creativity and empirical method.
The objectives were:
- To improve personal and professional development of the participants in order to promote the active participation of young people.
- To promote non-formal learning among youngsters in a multicultural and intercultural context.
- To improve the capacity to carry out activities in different environments, with diverse social, linguistic and cultural contexts and to know how to solve conflicts by promoting tolerance and respect in a peaceful and multicultural environment.
- To provide the necessary tools for self-expression in other languages.
- To improve the key skills and competences of young people through the raising awareness of active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, solidarity and democracy.
The training was given in a mixture of simple, easy-to-understand Spanish and English. The idea was to let participants, all coming from 4 different countries, promoting their own native languages by teaching the basics for conversation. We wanted to spread the idea that differences have to create links between people, not barriers!
