Michaela sa zúčastnila 7-mesačného dobrovoľníckeho programu v Španielsku, v meste San Clemente.  Náplň jej práce spočívala v pomoci s prípravou edukačných aktivít v škôlke.

Zhrnutie o čom tento dobrovoľnícky projekt bol:

Volunteer participated in it and carried out the following activities:

They supported the work of educators at the Municipal Nursery School from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 14.30. This center has a team of six professionals responsible for developing the educational project, aimed at 70 children from 5 months to 3 years old. Volunteers can also help at the local Occupational Center for intellectual disabled adults, developing some workshops with users and educators.

They also collaborated with Municipal Youth Services and Social Services, planned and developed some activities and workshops for youngsters: talks about the EVS, handicrafts, cooking workshops, workshops in English for youngsters and adults… These activities were developed according to volunteers skills and abilities and taking into account their own ideas.

On Monday and Wednesday, from 17.00 to 19.00 hours, they planned and developed some workshops for children from 6 to 12 years old. 

Throughout the year, San Clemente Town Hall develops some cultural activities and volunteers can participate in them. For example: Inter-Cultural Week, Regional Theatre Festival Francisco Nieva and volunteers can help with their preparation and implementation too.

About the hosting organization:

Our organization, San Clemente Town Hall, hosting, sending and coordinating organization, develops some services and programs for the entire population in the area of social services, employment, local development, environment, consumer, sports, culture, drug prevention, care childhood, youth … and throughout the year, some educational, cultural and sporting activities are organized, etc. It counts with professionals working in different fields of work.
It is accredited as a host organization since 2005. Since 2007 he is also accredited as a coordinating organization and since 2015 as a sending organization. It has developed thirteen EVS projects and has hosted 50 volunteers from different European countries: Italy, France, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Austria, UK under the Youth in Action program.
