More info about the project:

WeRadio Malta aimed to share web radio experience with partner organizations involved in discovering web radio as a tool so that together improve communication with their target groups and empowering young people in giving
them a possibility for better self-expression.
The training courses was conducted by WeRadio Malta between the 18th and 29th June 2022 in Malta, uniting 33 youth workers and activists from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, and Sweden. The project was a stage for development of new approaches based on IT technology and creation of web radio shows by exploiting the potential of non-formal education (simulations, group approach, collaborative approach, role play, horizontal learning, team building games, learning challenge, etc.) and producing collective intellectual outputs, such as programs, jingles, sketches, etc.
We expected also new project ideas and future web radio channels to be created by project participants, their organizations and later their target groups during the project activity as follow-up initiatives to thus contribute to project sustainability. As a foreseen result, the project delivered innovative tools to youth workers and group leaders involved, helping young people to conquer spaces through instruments like caster (represented by an easily accessible webpage). The barriers between the two “worlds” can be shorter and can co-operate, for a better society. Young people can prove they can be “entrepreneurs”, “journalists” and “speakers” despite their young age and stereotypes, as the number of listeners raises up and local communities will follow with interest as young people will
gain prestige, admiration, and respect for what they will be able to show to society.

Participants were from Germany Germany, Italy Italy, Lithuania Lithuania, Malta Malta, Poland Poland, Sweden Sweden, Portugal Portugal, Bulgaria Bulgaria and Slovakia Slovakia. There were 3 participants from each country.
