Gender equity implies that the needs, preferences and interests of women and men are considered equally. Gender equity is a concept integrated by multiple fators, hence the possibility of using sport as a tool to combat the lags and the difficulties that inequity generates for the development of countries.It is common for sport, like other social activities, to reflect the problems that affect the whole society.
AIMS of the youth exchange were:
- to elevate the importance of using sports as a tool to reach gender equity.
- to reach and raise up handicaps cause by inequity societies.
- to discover new generation of sports more inclusive.
The program of the youth exchange was focusing on a sport and consisted of activities as Basketball, Volleyball, Kickball and Kin-ball.
