Eager to embark on a journey with and about non-formal education? Curious to explore what ‘core values’ mean and how they develop in time? What types of values do we have in our life and how were they created, what is the reason of having them and how do they impact our daily lives and our decision making? Do we know why we make healthy or not healthy decisions, how does our compass of values influence our lifestyle and our development? What means decisional autonomy and peer pressure?

What means equity, equality and balance? How do we communicate with others and what is trust? Let’s explore these questions together. We use a wide variety of words for this concept, core values, to describe the principles and values that guide our decisions and define our lifestyle. We want it or not, it’s up to us, as young people, to make sure that our values and principles influence the way other people shape the way our environment looks. We hear about toxic or healthy relationships, conscious or unconscious decisions, good or bad habits, but do we know exactly what they are? Building meaningful and nourishing relationships was and it is one of the most challenging ‘tasks’ we were given to accomplish, and having a healthy compass of values is an important part of achieving it. We invite you and your colleagues to explore the concept of ‘values’ from multiple perspectives, during one week of testing non-formal learning methods. We will explore various sets of values, we will play with assertive and non-conflictual communication, self-esteem, trust and resilience, peer pressure, wellbeing, personal freedom,
boundaries and limits, human rights.

As a teenager who got in touch with this opportunity, you are in the right place to explore in a creative and introspective this topic. During this Erasmus+ Youth Exchange (YE), you will be part of an intensive learning process through which you will have the chance to grow, before any other aspect. We plan to have a week divided in two parts. In the first days, we will facilitate a set of activities and tools that are validated through our experience in working with teenagers, methods that explore decision making processes, autonomy, emotional literacy and behavioral patterns. In the second part of the YE (Youth Exchange), you are invited to test your facilitation skills by creating and delivering one workshop to your colleagues.

Youth exchange is for everybody who are interested in the topic, want to travel, learn and meet new people and cultures from the age of 14 – 18. Leaders can be older than that.

Participants will be from Romania Romania, Bulgaria Bulgaria, Slovakia Slovakia and other countries of EU. There will be 5 participants from each country.

Accommodation and food will be provided and financed from the Erasmus + program during the whole project. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 275 euro. If the participants will want to, we can arrange transport from and to the venue. Detailed information regarding financial procedures are written in FAQ and will be further explained with selected participants.

Registration is open until form is closed. Closed form mean we already finished choosing participants and therefore it is not possible to apply anymore.
