CREATE4YOUth is a TC focused on the strengthening the democratic participation and autonomy in Youth, specially in rural areas of Europe, as they are facing aging and depopulation. During this training the participants will learn new ways on using creativity as a method for example Art of Hosting, Design Thinking,
Humor Techniques, System innovation, Digital Storytelling (animation), Photovoice and Visualization and others, to find solutions in solving the changing problems of the 21st century, decision making, strategic thinking, leadership and project management. Youth Workers will be given various tools and methods by using multicultural dialogue, empiric data and non-formal education and at the end of the project stepby-step methods and activity descriptions that can be directly transferred to their daily work to their youth and communities.

The project idea of CREATE4YOUth arises from the experience of partner organizations, for example Partners which had several experiences over the past years with organizing, managing and implementing international projects, youth exchanges, training courses, strategic partnership projects for innovation and good practices, local events and workshops as well as those which has experience working with youth in rural areas with fewer opportunities and with policies on returning youth to the rural areas.

OBJECTIVES
1. Provide youth workers with know-how for decision making in planning and developing initiatives with youngsters and improving their project management competences focusing on each phase of the project life, partnership and communication;
2.Increase the understanding of different quality aspects of youth exchanges
such as: project design connecting topics, objectives and activities, cooperation with partners, intercultural learning, learning assessment, impact and results;
3. Provide introduction to Erasmus+, focusing on main
features and priorities (mainly for newcomers to the program);
4.Critically reflect upon their previous
international experience(s) – good and bad practices- as participants, coordinators or as partners;
5.Support
participants in putting in practice the learnings gained, submitting quality application forms to their NAs (through planning project ideas in partnership during one TC session and offering a mentoring support after the TC);
6.Experience a non-formal learning process aimed at developing innovative teaching and learning
approaches to include Creativity and Innovation working with youth;
7.Facilitate the creation of partnership
for further projects among the organizations (through the positive exchange among experienced and newcomers organizations)
8.Strenghten participants and organizations competences and capability in youth
work and international dimension and cooperation.
9.Enhancing Non Formal Education methods and
recognition of NFE learnings (Decision Making Process Implementation through projects and workshops).
10.To rise knowledge and know-how skills, involving creative techniques working with youth in areas with less opportunities including rural areas and communities.
11.Supporting the implementation of new and
creative ideas.

Training course is for everyone who is interested in the topic and is in daily contact with youngsters either as a youth worker, teacher, leader, volunteer, is part of any organization where young people are gathering, school or sport clubs, and etc. From the age of 18+.

Participants will be from Portugal Portugal, Cyprus Cyprus, Turkey Turkey, Serbia Serbia and Slovakia Slovakia. There will be 3 participants from each country. 

Accommodation HERE and food will be provided and financed from the Erasmus + program during the whole project. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 275 euro. Detailed information regarding financial procedures are written in FAQ and will be further explained with selected participants.

Registration is open until form is closed. Closed form mean we already finished choosing participants and therefore it is not possible to apply anymore.

Selected participants have to participate in a 30-minute online webinar before departure / date to be specified. Since all these projects are funded by the EU and since the goal of the EU and many projects is to encourage as many young people as possible to be interested in the EU and come to vote in next year’s European elections. That’s why we decided to hold a short 30-minute webinar about how the EU works and the European elections for all selected participants.
