The “ENvironment Strength Universal REsilience – ENSURE” youth exchange is an Erasmus+ project that targets young people who are interested in participating in an international educational experience to discuss issues of environmental sustainability. Bringing together young people from different countries and bringing them to reflect and discuss their role in the fight against climate change and to imagine common solutions. The youth exchange will give the participants the opportunity to share and explore tools and techniques together in order to promote the values of respect for the environment and environmental sustainability in their own communities.
What should you expect to do?
- rethink the value of waste reduction and its reuse through techniques such as upcycling;
- get to know the European directives about waste reduction and some basic concepts of eco-compatible design;
- experience sustainability through sports and outdoor activities to promote healthy and eco-friendly lifestyles;
- be involved and involve the community in promoting environmental topics!
During the Youth Exchange you will have the opportunity to discuss and get to know the macro-theme of environmental sustainability more closely by delving into related concepts: 3R, eco-compatible design, waste disposal, up-cycling. You will also be the protagonist in practical actions, approaching the theme of ecology through the concept of “green” sport, i.e. all those (mostly) outdoor sports that combine physical well-being with the reduction of environmental impact. The activities will coincide with the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) 2023!!!
Youth exchange is for everyone who is interested in the topic and would like to travel and meet new people and cultures. Between the age of 18 – 30, leader can be over 30.
Participants will be from Italy , Croatia , Portugal , France , Georgia and Slovakia . There will be 5 participants from each country.
Accommodation HERE and food will be provided and financed from the Erasmus + program during the whole project. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 275 euro. Detailed information regarding financial procedures are written in FAQ and will be further explained with selected participants.
REGISTRATION IS POSSIBLE VIA THE FORM HERE
Registration is open until form is closed. Closed form mean we already finished choosing participants and therefore it is not possible to apply anymore.
Selected participants have to participate in a 30-minute online webinar before departure / date to be specified. Since all these projects are funded by the EU and since the goal of the EU and many projects is to encourage as many young people as possible to be interested in the EU and come to vote in next year’s European elections. That’s why we decided to hold a short 30-minute webinar about how the EU works and the European elections for all selected participants.
