The Youth Exchange “Gender Equality in Media” (GEM) aimed to provide a platform to learn and reflect on the challenge of gender inequality: The project tried to identify possible causes and solutions to influence and change the current status. Especially in times where (social) media can be used to support movements against gender discrimination, we wanted to emphasize the topic in order to raise awareness among participants and their communities.
