Summary what was youth exchange about:

„IF NOT YOU, THEN WHO?“ was an international project, which aimed to strengthen unity of the European Union citizens by promoting solidarity. This project provided opportunity to 38 youngsters from Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Lithuania to foster European awareness on benefits of intercultural learning through various workshops, simulations, games and much more.

Using interactive non-formal and informal methods within 7 days everyone had a space to share and present situation in their country, what is being done to foster unity, what we should stop/avoid doing or what could we do better. The group increased their knowledge and shared the experience, creating the problem solving model.

In the final event young people presented their vision of European Union future, what could be improved and which opportunities should be use. That way we made impact on the local community in which non-formal learning provided support to promote solidarity and foster unity. We wanted to remind people about simple and very important fundamental values for common development – solidarity, democracy, tolerance and intercultural friendship.

Participants were from Lithuania, Poľska Poland , Maďarska Hungary , Rakúska Austria , Talianska Italy a Slovenska Slovakia .
