The training “Learn to Optimize Volunteering Experience – LOVE” aimed to bring together participants from different European countries and provide them the opportunity to share ideas and practices about all what concern the promotion of volunteering values and activities in the local communities.
The participants acquired more awareness about the importance of voluntarism in the local communities. They got new tools and knowledge to engage young people in volunteering activities as only few youngsters take part in this kind of events. However, the participants also had the opportunity to get and simulate methods to design volunteering activities, which support the local communities, and in the same time the personal development of the involved youngsters. The proposal also wanted to provide participants with training and co-operation opportunities in order to develop their professionalism and the European dimension of youth work.
