Summary what was youth exchange about:

The aim of this youth exchange was to increase the awareness of the need to fight with hate speech which occurs in the European sphere and is especially visible on the cultural background. Through this project, we wanted to promote tolerance in many aspects and encourage people to fight with different forms of intolerance and hate speech. We wanted to point out on the hate speech which is visible in the Internet, the media, public sphere. Participants of the exchange also improved their soft skills. As a result of this project, social campaign opposing hate speech is carried out on a large scale.

The main objective of the project was to exchange experiences and good practices between young people in the field of preventing the spread of hate speech, as well as developing skills in using tools of intercultural education which can be used by participants in their daily activities.

The methodology was based on non-formal education. The participants took part in energizers, interactive workshops, debates, simulations, reflective and evaluation groups, field game, group workings, case studies.

There was also trip to Krakow during youth exchange.

Project results:

• Social campaign against hate speech prepared by the participants which will be held in the Internet;
• Fanpage on FB „Face Hate Speech” promoting fighting with hate speech;
• Enriching knowledge and skills of participants in the area of prevention of hate speech,its forms and tools for countering cultural prejudice.
