The Youth Exchange “OpenPlay Inclusion”, is a project organized by Centro Cultural e Desportivo Estrela do Zêzere da Boidobra (Facebook) focuses on using sports to promote learning, inclusion and diversity. Sporting activities promote social and cognitive skills, including communication and stress management, as well as physical health. Therefore, the main aim of the project is to use the promotional and dynamic elements of sports to develop cognitive and social skills rather than physical skills. It aims to use collective experiences to explore in depth the concepts of equality and diversity and to raise awareness of this issue of social gaps.
The objectives are:
– To develop physical skills through sport.
– Address inclusion and diversity, providing participants with ideas and tactics to make a difference in their communities.
– Involvement in sports can help develop cognitive skills (both personal and social) with real-world application.
– Increase European understanding of the need for such initiatives in all communities.
– Encourage the sharing of personal stories and experiences that resonate with the European social environment.
Participants will be from Lithuania , Serbia , Spain , Portugal , Italy , Czechia and Slovakia . There will be 6 participants from each country.
