Take a train journey across the European Union with us and experience the power of inclusion!

“The Power of Inclusion” is a DiscoverEU project on inclusion. Only young people who are 18 years old at the time of departure and belong to at least one of the disadvantaged groups can participate in the project – they face social, economic or geographical obstacles, cultural differences or discrimination. We are currently looking for participants born between 1.11.2005 and 30.9.2006.

The project covers accommodation, food, train tickets and also some “pocket money”, so your participation is free. The project is not about us planning your trip, finding accommodation and you going, but about going through this whole process with us. We will meet online and you will create the journey of your dreams that will expand your horizons and teach you a lot.

The trip for which we are now opening registration will last 12 days and will take place in October 2024. We will choose 5 of you and we care about your motivation when choosing. Your parents and friends don’t have to be afraid that we will just send you out into the world. We will adequately prepare you for everything and we will also send a responsible person with you who will always be in the same city as you and will be in constant contact with you if something happens and you will enjoy a pleasant breakfast and dinner together. We will also communicate with your school.

What you will complete:

If we select you based on your application and motivation, we will arrange an online/telephone interview with you.
Selected participants will receive a confirmation email where you will have to confirm your participation. In the case of a participant who is under 18 at the time of selection, we will also request confirmation from the legal representative.
We will begin the preparatory phase, during which we will plan the route, accommodation, entrances to museums, or other attractions that will be interesting for you and can enrich you with something – 8 key competencies. We will also prepare in language, especially English, if the countries to which you will travel do not require another language. We will prepare a risk and financial plan, conclude agreements with you, your schools and parents. And much more, but believe me, it will be fun.
Here we go -> 12 days full of adventure, new experiences and skills. Self-reflection – what I learned today.
Creating a podcast/vlog. Article.
Feedback, our meeting with you, how it was, what we should improve,…
You will do a workshop at your school where you will share your experience using what you have learned.
You will receive a certificate and completion of this activity, which will show what you have learned.
Want to learn and experience more? We will always be here for you, willing to help you gain more experience.

Are you over 20 years old, responsible, fluent in English, familiar with first aid and would you like to participate? Let us know by writing an email to erasmus@adelslovakia.org and as the subject, put Responsible Person “The Power of Inclusion”.

Through the “Power of Inclusion” project, we aim to:
