The emphasis of this project was on Digital Competences and Media Literacy which were closely related, and both draw on the same core skill of Critical Thinking. Media Literacy focused on teaching youth to be critically engaged consumers of media, while Digital Competence was more about enabling youth to participate in digital media in wise, safe and ethical ways.
Main aims were:
- To promote the Digital Competence of the participating youth workers, youth trainers, and mentors.
- To use Information Society Technology (IST) and Information Communication Technologies (ICT) to develop the quality of youth work provided by the partner organisations to their target groups.
Participants were from Cyprus , Czech Republic , Lithuania , Greece , Romania , Estonia , Bulgaria , Slovenia , Germany and Slovakia .
