Y.W.4.H.R. focused on promoting human rights, creating greater tolerance for other cultures and religions, achieving improvement in today’s society through the creation of future social networks and the stimulation of good practices exchanges among youth workers of 10 NGOs.
The training course for youth workers and youth leaders focused on the sphere of human rights, respect of society and the creation of resilient communities. The project was a learning path for creative ideas that challenges the great contribution in terms of youth inclusion, respect for human rights and increase initiative, autonomy and mobility of young people. The purpose is, with regard to success, the progress of human rights, the knowledge and dialogue of other cultures, in order to be better tolerant and think collectively for the achievement of an improvement in the current society
Training objectives were:
- Promote the participation of Y.W. through lifelong learning and promote constructive reflection on European citizenship, facilitating the tools for democratic participation
- Learn how to offer young people the opportunity to learn through the dialogue with whom it is apparently different;
- Give to Y.W tools to create in their own countries new social projects and develop programs that promote and defend human rights, diversity, sensitivity and tolerance of groups at social risk (LGBT, gender equality, religion, culture…)
Participants were from Spain , Greece , Lithuania , Denmark , Turkey , Poland , Romania , Bulgaria and Slovakia . There were 3 participants from each country.
