Applying ICT in everyday social work

This project aims to support and empower young people by enhancing their digital literacy, engagement, and employability. It focuses on training 30 youth workers in ICT and digital youth work to effectively engage European youngsters and help them adapt to digitalization. The project addresses issues like limited access to information, reduced employability, social exclusion, decreased civic participation, and online risks faced by young people in the EU. It also aims to meet the needs of youth workers by enhancing their skills, promoting digital inclusion, improving employability, and elevating the quality and impact of youth work 

The main objectives of the project:
1. Provide training and support to youth workers to develop digital skills and use ICT tools in their work with young people.
2. Create and share a toolkit for youth workers that provides practical guidance on the use of ICT tools and methods in youth work.
3. Foster collaboration and networking among youth workers and organizations from different European countries to share best practices and approaches.
4. Increase the digital literacy of young people, particularly those with fewer opportunities, and promote their active participation in digital activities.
5. Contribute to the development of digital content and pedagogical practices in youth work that are tailored to the needs and interests of young people.
6. Raise awareness about the Erasmus Plus program and promote cultural dialogue.

Training course is mostly for youth workers, teachers, leaders, volunteers or for everybody who are interested in the topic, want to travel, learn and meet new people and cultures from the age of 23+.
