Courageous Conversations

Talking about sensitive topics like privilege, discrimination and bias can be difficult, but these conversations are necessary to create change.

This 7-day Erasmus+ training course will help youth workers gain the skills and confidence they need to work with diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB). Participants will learn how to understand differences, address biases, and create spaces where everyone feels valued and respected.

This journey will give youth workers the tools to promote inclusion, advocate for fairness and make a lasting difference in their communities.

AIM
To develop youth workers’ competence in integrating and addressing diversity and inclusion topics, fostering transformation within themselves, their youth organisations and communities.

Deepen Understanding:
Explore key concepts like diversity, equity, inclusion, privilege, stereotype and prejudice, and learn how to address barriers to inclusion in youth work.

Develop Practical Skills:
Build tools for empathy, diversity and inclusion sensitivity and navigate difficult conversations to create inclusive and supportive environments.

Inspire Action:
Learn to advocate for fairness and inclusion through storytelling, nonviolent communication, dialogue and participatory activities that drive positive change.

Training course if for yout workers, leaders, teachers, educators, volunteers, and everybody who is interested in the topic, want to travel, learn and meet new people and cultures from the age of 18+.
