Volunteers work 30 hours a week on the tasks of the National Portrait Library. Date: September-October 2021 12 months (start date to be specified with the applicant) Location: National Portrait Gallery, 1114 Budapest, Bartók Béla út. 21. Host organization: National Portrait Foundation
ABOUT THE NATIONAL PORTRAIT
Our goal is to find and make available to anyone in the internet database the portraits of all the ladies and gentlemen who have been part of Hungarian history with their lives and work. To this end, we also aim to scientifically identify the historical portraits we have found, and to promote education and dissemination of knowledge about the person in question. Not only do we want to help the professional work of historians, illustrators, art historians, family tree researchers and educators, our mission is to make our activities available to as many people as possible.
