About the project
The project “mIrA In Action, ” promoted by the association EducAI, will take place in Covilhã, Portugal, from November 11 to 19, 2025, bringing together 30 young people from Portugal, Lithuania, Spain, Turkey, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. Its main objective is to increase digital literacy in artificial intelligence (AI) among the participants. Over nine days, the youth will explore fundamental AI concepts, reflect on ethical and social implications, and develop practical skills through workshops, debates, and collaborative activities. The international aspect of the project fosters the exchange of experiences and intercultural learning, enabling participants to understand different perspectives on technology and digital education.
The project addresses the gap in young people’s knowledge of AI, as many feel unprepared and have limited access to practical training in the field. In addition to developing digital and technical skills, “mIrA In Action” provides a safe space for critical reflection on the impact of AI on society, covering issues such as ethics, privacy, and algorithmic bias. Aligned with the priorities of Erasmus+ and the National Agency, the project promotes social inclusion, digital citizenship, and European values, empowering young people to use AI ethically and innovatively while enhancing their personal and professional development.
Youth exchange is for everybody who is interested in the topic, want to travel, learn and meet new people and cultures from the age of 18 – 30. Leader can be older than that.

Accommodation HERE and food will be provided and financed from the Erasmus + program during the whole project. Travel will be reimbursed up to 395 euro. Detailed information regarding financial procedures are written in FAQ and will be further explained with selected participants.
