Nature is adventure

This project is designed to support young people with fewer opportunities by providing them with enriching experiences that promote an active lifestyle, creativity, and cultural integration. Organized under Erasmus+ accreditation in the field of youth, the exchange will take place in Wisła, a scenic town in the Beskid Śląski mountains in southern Poland, from May 13th to May 20th, 2025.

The event, titled “Youth Are on the Move. Promotion of an Active Lifestyle, Creativity, and Youth Integration,” aims to bring together young people from different countries to participate in a variety of activities focused on well-being, sports, cultural exchange, creativity, and environmental awareness. Through this initiative, participants will engage in interactive workshops, outdoor adventures, and meaningful discussions, helping them develop new skills, build confidence, and establish international friendships.

Project Goals and Activities

The program is structured to offer a diverse and engaging experience while encouraging key values such as healthy living, cultural diversity, environmental responsibility, and innovation. Participants will take part in a well-planned schedule, which includes the following themes:

• Sport and Recreation – The Key to Health and Well-being:
  Through various activities such as hiking, Nordic walking, yoga, fitness sessions, and ball games, participants will explore the importance of physical activity for their well-being. Workshops on healthy lifestyles and nutrition will also be conducted, and a sports tournament will be organized to encourage teamwork and fair play.

• Discovering the Culture and Traditions of Wisła:
  To enhance cultural awareness, the program includes visits to historical sites, monuments, and museums in Wisła and its surroundings. Participants will also learn traditional dances and songs and experience regional cuisine through food-tasting activities.

• Youth in Europe – Integration and Exchange of Experiences:
  Young people from different countries will have the opportunity to discuss challenges they face in their societies, share multimedia presentations about their culture, history, and traditions, and participate in an intercultural evening where they will present their talents, music, or art.

• Ecology and Environmental Protection – Caring for Our Planet:
  The project emphasizes environmental responsibility through eco-workshops on sustainability, cleaning activities along the Vistula River, and a trip to a national park or nature reserve. A nature competition will also be organized to encourage ecological awareness and action.

• Creativity and Innovation – Developing Talents:
  Participants will engage in creative workshops, photography sessions, and brainstorming activities focused on finding innovative solutions to social challenges. Additionally, young people will have the opportunity to present their own projects related to sports, recreation, and environmental protection.

Youth exchanges are for everybody who is interested in the topic, want to travel, learn and meet new people and cultures from the age of 15 – 17. Leader can be older than that.
