Zhrnutie o čom tréning bude:
By our project we will investigate the current situation of young people in Europe, focusing specifically on those who are not in employment, education or training, and to understand the economic and social consequences of their disengagement from the labour market and education in rural areas. The term NEET is used to describe young people who are not engaged in any form of employment, education or training. The term has come into the policy debate in recent years due to disproportionate impact of the recession on young people (under 30 years old). NEET are young people aged between 15 and 29 years old who were not in employment, education and training.
According to the research of European Foundation for the Improvement for the Living and Working Conditions between 2011 and 2015 and published at June 2015, the rates of NEET in across Europe: 15.4% of the population between 15-29 years old in Europe, 14 million young people in Europe who are NEET, 4.1% is the difference between female and male, 48.1% unemployed as share of NEETs. Among the risk factors, the location is the most highlighted in the work of partner organisations as we all represent rural youth from villages, settlements, islands and remote areas. According to this statistic, living in remote areas increases of becoming a NEET up to 1.5 times.
We have initiated our project, because of the urgent need of rural young people who need such type of youth work methods and techniques which can empower them to believe themselves, encourage them to be citizens and take responsibilities for their decisions and lives. We would like to define why NEET situation occurred in our villages among young people, what are the themes, stereotypes, emotions towards NEET and being in NEET, what are the causes of the NEET and how we can provide non-formal educational support to handle it through youth work activities.
The overall aim of this training course is to to train rural youth workers, youth leaders in order to explore the personal, social, economic, geographical reasons of NEET, to understand the emotional background of rural youth being NEET. Being able to invent and propose local and European youth work methods and techniques based on the needs of NEET young people in order to solve the causes of the NEET situation and develop and improve their transversal and soft skills to become full members of the local communities. Establishing an European network among rural youth organisations in order to fight against unemployment of rural youth.
Learning objectives of the training course are:
-To define the meaning and foster understanding at being in NEET situation in rural areas;
-To explore the local and global reasons and issues around being NEET in that situation;
-To share the common theme, stereotypes, emotions associated with NEET in rural areas;
