Waste Warriors was a project that aimed to promote social inclusion and active participation of young people, through an intercultural project that addresses the theme of climate change, more specifically waste and the 5 R’s. The participants come from 7 different NGOs in 7 different countries: Portugal, Italy, Türkiye, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Greece and Slovakia.
MAIN GOAL
– raise young people’s awareness of the impact that waste has on the environment,
– giving them practical knowledge of how they can contribute to reducing it.
This Young Mobility consisted in:
– a virtual meeting one week before with all the participants coming to the Exchange, in order to make it easier to create a good and strong group environment in the YE
Youth exchange was for everybody who is interested in the topic, want to travel, learn and meet new people and cultures from the age of 16 – 30.
