The youth exchange “Whithout Addiction to hAve Fun, Action Challenge – WATAFAC” is an Erasmus+ project that targets young young people between 18 and 25 years old interested in participating in an international educational experience to discuss about issues of addictions to the use of psychoactive substances with the aim of providing a “healthy” entertainment alternative, but above all to avoid phenomena such as binge drinking where alcohol becomes a mere means of finding harmony with psycho-emotional distress.

The general objective, therefore, is to bring together young people from different countries and lead them to reflect and discuss on their active role within the “group” intended as a moment of socialization among peers in free time, and to imagine alternative solutions to the use of psychoactive substances as social lubricants.

The solution is NOT prohibition, but awareness of an alternative solution!

The specific objective of the project infact is to increase the level of information on the psychophysical effects of psychoactive substances, in particular alcohol, and on how to replace them to receive the same benefits in terms of self-confidence and social skills in group contexts among young people.

Dissuading from the dependence of the use of psychoactive substances as social lubrificant seeking an alternative in mechanism of “well-being neurotransmitters” and of the potential of one’s organism stimulated by natural and easily accessible inputs: would you like to know more?

Youth exchange is for everybody who is interested in the topic, want to travel, learn and meet new people and cultures from the age of 18 – 30. Leaders can be older than that.
