Would you like to be involved in organization of film festival? We give you this opportunity for 1 month and in order to maximize benefits – also in another country and 2 different cities – Bulgaria, city of Varna and Veliko Tarnovo!
Summary what would be your tasks during the festival:
IN THE PALACE is an international festival dedicated to short films, new media and digital arts under 27 minutes in length. The main purpose of the Festival is to present contemporary film art from Bulgaria, Europe and the whole world. IN THE PALACE provides an exceptionally favorable environment and platform of expression for both young film artists and established professionals in this artistic field. Established in 2003, the festival has grown from a competitive forum for student films into the largest and most prestigious short film festival in Bulgaria and the region.
The volunteer programme IN THE PALACE On Tour offers 20 young people from different countries the opportunity to get an insider’s look at the organization and working process of established cultural and educational events such as the campaign “IN THE PALACE in the marine, old and new capitals of Bulgaria”.
Volunteers are engaged in tasks related to the promotion of events, getting familiar with the atmosphere and the venues of the events, and tasks that aim to develop their creativity in the fields of cinema, journalism, design and photography. Leading goal is to quickly adapt to the environment and to form a specific attitude for the upcoming events. Analysis and assessment of personal qualities and interests is also important, since, based on them, the distribution of the activities will be done.
In the phase of actual conduct of the events, the tasks of the volunteers are related to specific details in organizing events. In this way they will be able to explore in detail the organization of a major cultural end educational event and to acquire new knowledge and skills.
After the event is over, volunteers are enrolled in carrying out the post-implementation promotion campaign, self evaluation, and dissemination of results. The aim of the project is to allow young people interested in audio-visual arts and culture to participate in the organization of these events.

Accommodation will be arranged and for free for volunteers, travel costs covered within maximum reimbursement of 275euros and volunteer will get 320euros as pocket money and food allowance.
