The project aims to teach to identify and combat discrimination and stereotypes, to resist the undesirable suggestion of the acceptability of discriminatory processes and stereotypes through the arts, to distinguish the types of discrimination in life and in the arts, and to help reduce such phenomena as “discrimination” and “stereotypical thinking”. 

The participants will learn how to:
– look for manifestations of discrimination and biased thoughts in works of art;
– develop analytical thinking, synthesis, research and others;
– distinguish the types of discrimination, its open and closed manifestations, ways of response and influence;
– work with generally recognized films, TV series, books, paintings and musical compositions where there is hidden or overt discrimination and stereotypes;
– overcome the barrier of age, racial, ethnic, gender, religious and class discrimination;
– improve the discriminatory situation in the arts.

Project is for everyone who is interested in the topic and is in daily contact with youngsters either as a youth worker, teacher, leader, volunteer, is part of any organization where young people are gathering, school or sport clubs, and etc. From the age of 18+.

Participants will be from Bulgaria Bulgaria, Spain Spain, Slovenia Slovenia, Ukraine Ukraine, Croatia Croatia, Greece Greece, North Macedonia North Macedonia and Slovakia Slovakia. There will be 6 participants from each country. 

Accommodation HERE and food will be provided and financed from the Erasmus + program during the whole project. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 225 euro. Detailed information regarding financial procedures are written in FAQ and will be further explained with selected participants.
