Teenagers and young people in their twenties want to belong to communities much more than other age groups. They are still looking for their selfhood, their roles and places in society. While they are exploring their identity, they often identify themselves with ideas and philosophies, they are looking for those people’s company who believe in the same principles, and they make a community together. So young people get in touch with subcultures, they identify with their values, practice a form of behavior and a style.
During the program participants got to know various subcultures, its roles in people’s socialization, strengthen the tolerant and accepting attitudes toward “other” people, to help achieve a life without prejudices.
