Summary what was youth exchange about:
The main theme of the project was a rediscovery of tradition and the countryside as a basis for the construction of a European identity, and discovery of outdoor activities as a healthy alternative to the problems among youth. Therefore, the project faced issues that directly affect young people them in everyday life. What is more, we aimed to shape responsible citizens, starting from the territorial dimension of our actions.
The objectives of this project:
– give a chance to young people with fewer opportunities for self-realization,
– showcase various possibilities of local studies and prospective jobs,
– teach about European citizenshipi,
– assist with seeking for life purpose and practice a life-work balance,
– improve level of youth involvement in local community,
– strengthen cooperation between local organizations and young people,
– increase decision-making capacity, adaptation skills and self-confidence
