During the youth exchange, participants took part in the workshops about photography, film makng and journalism which allowed them to develop practical skills and gain knowledge in those areas. There were various workshops during youth exchange:
– Film workshops: creating the script (rules, important elements) directory bases, (basic concepts of film language, examples of film clips-analysis), recording (tips). Methods: Working in a group, small group work, individual assignments and group workshops.
– Legal ways to get music (and sound effects-websites, etc.). Journalistic ethics (what it is). Photography rules (ethics, copyright). Basics of the camera (mode in the camera, manual mode – dependence between parameters).
– Studio photography. (Discussion of the operation of the equipment and photographic accessories, working with model).
– Processing images in graphic programs. (Types of graphics programs, knowledge of their activities, graphical tools).
– Self-presentation and behavior in front of the camera. (How to combat stage fright, ways of expression, what to avoid-video examples).
– Film montage and video compression. (Programs for editing movies and their service-basic tools).
and many others.
Participation in the youth exchange conributed also to their creativity and development of creative thinking. They changed attitudes of tolerance towards cultural and religious diversity and foster knowledge of cultures and customs of other countries.
