Information about conference:
The conference was in the frame of the project InclusiveArt – which is a project that proposes to unleash the creative potential of Banat region. It implies a dynamic partnership formed by two NGO, one local Public Authority and one Public cultural institution. The projects involves young artists, 12 cultural intervention for children from disadvantaged communities situated in Timiș, Caraș-Severin, Zrenjanin, Kikinda counties; stakeholders from the 12 communities involved; young Roma; migrants; young cultural entrepreneurs and relevant stakeholders in cultural field from the region. It creates context and uses of art to make a socially inclusive intervention in disadvantaged communities. Because by looking at art, we learn about ourselves. Comparing views on art, we learn about one another. Debating it, we shape culture.
The conference was organised in 25th and 26th of October in Timisoara and brought together different stakeholders from the cultural, entrepreneurship and education field from Romania and Serbia in order to create new partnerships and new project. There were almost 80 participants from the both countries who generated network and new project ideas.
