I Am Part of My Community

“I Am Part of My Community” project emerges in response to the need for inclusion and opportunities for young people, especially immigrants and refugees. The project is driven by the desire to address critical concerns and meet pressing needs in the community, with a focus on intercultural mediation to make a significant contribution to society. A lack of opportunities and existing disparities have been observed and analysed, with a commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion among vulnerable youth.

“I Am Part of My Community” not only seeks to integrate young people but also aims to turn them into active and participative agents in their communities, promoting understanding and mutual respect among youth from different backgrounds and cultures. To achieve this, specific objectives are outlined that support and deepen the impact of the main goal, preparing participants in intercultural mediation techniques, raising awareness about the barriers and challenges faced by immigrants and refugees, and promoting social inclusion.

AIMS
– Promotion voluntary activity in sport, together with social inclusion, equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of physical activity for improved health.
– Contribute to strengthening the bonds of friendship, culture and citizenship among the young people of Europe.
– Promote traditional sports and games of the past by enhancing the resources of the territory and the tourism aspects;
ADM has been established to be active in local, national and international projects. With the help of the projects carried out, it seeks to promote lifelong learning and to enhance the skills related to sports activities. It also aims to involve youth in international youth work, international educational, scientific, cultural exchange programs and it wants to create chances for young people to be sporty, strong, physically and mentally fit, understanding, successful and ambitious.
