Summary what was youth exchange about:
“Do you see us now ?” project aims to the empowerment of the citizens of tomorrow. And we definitely think that multimedia is a powerful tool of expression to integrate youth to the democratic and political life. Thus, the project’s objective is to rienforce the knowledge and competences of youth in the field of multimedia. Those new knowledge will allows them to being more active in society, more efficient in their work activities, but also, to gain in independance and autonomy in a complex world.
THE OBJECTIVES
– Create a learning space where the participants can develop their skills in the multimedia field.
– To provide an intercultural environnement and develop communication, leadership, teamwork skills.
– To favor the independance and autonomy of youth citizens.
Program activities
– Multimedia workshops and discussions about activism and media, the turning of idea into a story, the storytelling but also about the social change by online media and the screenplay making.
– Filming, and turn every screenplays into a movie.
– Editing (postproduction), and mounting the videos filmed with an editing software.
– Multimedia exhibition with a presentation of each movies filmed and edited. Each group will introduce and show his work to the others. It will be the occasion to exchange on the multimedia experience.
