The “Support Outdoor Solutions for the Enviroment – S.O.S. Enviroment” training course is an Erasmus+ project targeting youth workers interested in an international educational experience to improve their knowledge about peaceful environmental activism declined in different forms, as a methodological approach to engage youth in rediscovering the power of community to face personal (e.g. eco-anxiety) and non-personal (climate change) issues.
What should you expect to do?
- rethink the value of waste reduction and its reuse through techniques such as upcycling;
- get to know the European directives about waste reduction and some basic concepts of eco-compatible design;
- get to know international peaceful activism movements;
- experience sustainability through sports and outdoor activities to promote healthy and eco-friendly lifestyles;
- be involved and involve the community in promoting environmental topics through an action!
During the training course, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the macro-topic of environmental sustainability by delving into some related micro- concepts starting from waste categorization to eco-compatible design and up-cycling, and ending with peaceful activism as a form of youth involvement.
The participants will learn about some international movements and will also be protagonists of practical actions, approaching the topic of ecology through the concept of “green” sport, i.e. all those (mostly) outdoor sports that combine physical well-being with the reduction of environmental impact.
Training courses are for everybody who is interested in the topic, want to travel, learn and meet new people and cultures from the age of 18+.

. There will be 5 participants from each country.
Accommodation HERE and food will be provided and financed from the Erasmus + program during the whole project. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 309 euro. Detailed information regarding financial procedures are written in FAQ and will be further explained with selected participants.
