“GreenWave Solidarity – InClude ME” was a one monthly team volunteering project that took place in Thessaloniki between 16.08 till 16.09 of 2022. The project hosted 46 youngsters and sign language interpreters to
ensure smooth communication within the team as participants will be deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing youngsters.
The idea of the project was to promote, prepare and support activities during the Green Wave Festival of Thessaloniki that took place the last week of the project. You can check https://greenwavefestival.com/ and their fb page.
Main activities were:
-to inform about the different European mobility programs for young people and highlight that each youngster can participate in it
-to promote ecological activities as: using bikes in the city, using dry toilets, valorizing organic wastes
-to implement ideas of the volunteers that promote environmental protection, footprint reduction, solidarity, cooperation in line with the festival’s ecological philosophy
