S.T.E.P. Save the Earth, Please!

The Youth Exchange “S.T.E.P. Save the Earth, Please! , is a project organised by Youth Viana that has as its main topic environmental protection. The Project “S.T.E.P.” has as its main objective the creation of an awareness campaign about the importance of the oceans and how they should be preserved. Our objective is to make participants, from different European countries, think together and develop materials to make Europe think about this topic.
In this way, the project will promote the participants, the creation of knowledge and methods of this topic and develop sessions to implement the results.
We intend to make an impact at a personal level, giving them the tools to increase responsible citizenship while disseminating it in their own cities and turn them active and alive, being actively cooperative to their community.
The activities are always arranged in a non-formal learning perspective, participatory methodologies that enable participants to learn in a practical and reflective way.
The project will take place during 8 days in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, in an accommodation near the city centre. All the accommodation, food costs, activities and travel costs will be covered and reimbursed according Erasmus+ programme rules.

Participants were from Portugal , Spain , Italy , Croatia , Czechia and Slovakia . There were 5 participants from each country.
